The story so far....
Coden's Greengrocers is a small traditional family greengrocer based in West Sussex.
The business began back in 1960 when Bob Coden set up his first market stall in the North of London, back in the day when stalls consisted of cast iron and it was an absloute requirement to 'call out'..........."Don't be shy come and buy!"
Bob's son, Zac, was a regular face on the stalls as a young lad, and would often go with his father in his lorry buying to old covent garden, in addition to working on the stalls along side his father and mother. Eventually after relocating to West Sussex, Bob handed over the reins to his son and Zac took over the family business in 2003.
With hard work and dedication the business has evolved, with regular market stalls in Horsham and Hassocks in West Sussex, and more recently an online delivery service covering several area's of the South Coast.
The Coden family team has grown over the years from Zac, and his parents Bob and Carole, to now include Zac's wife, Louise and long serving family friends Sandra, and Steve. The Coden's Greengrocers ethos since when it all started has been and will continue to be; providing customers with high quality produce which is fresh, full of flavour and affordable with provenance always in mind, sourced and grown locally where possible, as well as a friendly personable service and commitment to our customers.
